Miamelo — version of September 28, 2026

The essentials. Miamelo is a food journal that offers wellness guidance. It is neither a medical device nor a health service, and its guidance does not replace the advice of a doctor, dietitian or midwife. Nutrition values are estimates. You remain the sole judge of what you eat.

1. Who publishes Miamelo?

The Miamelo app is published by Abdelbassit Zeroual, sole trader (French micro-entrepreneur). Contact: [email protected].

2. Acceptance

By using Miamelo, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. When you first open it, the app asks you to expressly accept that its guidance is not medical advice and that your photos are analyzed by an artificial intelligence service. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the app.

3. What Miamelo does

Miamelo helps you keep a log of what you eat and drink: AI analysis of meal photos, barcode reading, recipes, tracking of hydration, weight and symptoms, a weekly review, and general nutrition guidance. Some features require the Miamelo+ subscription.

4. Miamelo is not medical advice

The information provided by Miamelo (calories, macronutrients, nutrition grades, targets, recipe ideas, cycle-related guidance, reminders, reviews) is general information for guidance only. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, a treatment, or personalized medical or dietary advice.

Miamelo is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. The sources behind its guidance are cited in the app ("Health guidance sources").

Never use Miamelo to delay seeing a doctor, change a treatment or replace medical follow-up. If you have a worrying symptom, contact a health professional or, in an emergency, your local emergency number (112 in Europe).

5. Situations that call for medical advice

If you have an illness (in particular diabetes, kidney or heart disease), are pregnant or breastfeeding, are on treatment, or have or have had an eating disorder, ask your doctor before changing your diet. For several of these situations, Miamelo sticks to general guidance, and it does not offer a weight-loss goal during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an eating disorder, when your weight is already low, or before age 18.

Miamelo is intended for people aged 15 and over.

6. Estimates that may be inaccurate

Nutrition values are estimated from photos, text or public databases. Artificial intelligence can be wrong about a food, an amount or a preparation, and databases may contain errors. Check and correct values when needed.

Allergies and intolerances: Miamelo does not reliably detect allergens, traces or hidden ingredients. Never rely on the app to know whether a food is safe for you: read the label and ask about the ingredients.

7. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter, for how you use the app's guidance, and for your food choices. You agree to use Miamelo personally and lawfully, and not to try to bypass its technical protections or misuse its analysis service.

8. The publisher's responsibility

The publisher makes its best efforts to provide a reliable service, without being able to guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions. Except in case of gross negligence or intentional misconduct on its part, or bodily harm, and without prejudice to the rights consumers are guaranteed by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of a decision made on the basis of the app's guidance, an inaccurate estimate, or use contrary to these terms.

9. Miamelo+ subscription

Miamelo+ is sold by Apple through the App Store as an automatically renewing monthly or yearly subscription, with a one-week free trial. The price is shown before purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Apple's terms (standard license agreement) also apply.

10. Personal data

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy: no account, data on your iPhone and in your private iCloud, photos sent to the analysis service only when you ask for an analysis.

11. Intellectual property

The app, its texts, recipes, design and brand belong to the publisher or to their authors. Data from Open Food Facts is under the ODbL license. You keep your content (photos, recipes, notes).

12. Availability and changes

The publisher may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, in particular for technical, security or legal reasons. These terms may be updated; the version in force is dated at the top of the page, and significant changes will be shown in the app.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, please write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the competent courts are those provided for by law. The French version of these terms prevails in case of doubt.
